Continuous Slot Screen, also be named Wire Wrap Johnson Screen, Johnson screen, Wound Screen, Wedge wire screen, or Wire wrapped screen.

Continuous Slot Screen features continuous slots designed to provide maximum open area to reduce entrance velocity, increase hydraulic efficiency and promote more effective development. Both the inner and outer screens are constructed of V-shaped wire continuously wrapped around an array of equally spaced support rods of the same material. Each junction of wire/rod contact is resistance welded.
